For over fifty years, the Artificial Intelligence Technology and Systems Group has applied its deep technical expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, speech processing, signal processing, and graph processing to discover, create, and deliver some of the Nation's’s most impactful speech, language, and cyber technologies for national security. The group serves as the Nation’s “go to” technical resource in these areas and has been recognized at the highest levels of the government. We seek a candidate with experience in the area of natural language processing (NLP) to work with our team on research, technology development and transfer, and applications in end-to-end artificial-intelligence systems.
Job Description
Some of the group’s NLP research and development (R&D) efforts include authorship attribution, text generation, entity and relationship extraction, low-resource language processing, content authentication, auto summarization , style transfer, and explainable AI. • Conduct research and development in artificial intelligence/machine learning with application to text and NLP • Develop and evaluate technology for text understanding • Prior experience with deep learning architectures and related libraries (PyTorch, Tensor flow, etc.) is highly desired • Support the deployment of NLP systems across the US Government • Interact with government sponsors in support of developing new areas of research and fulfillment of future needs • This is an individual contributor (IC) role with significant opportunities to grow into a team leadership role
Requirments
Masters or Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical
Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
