PayPal's Legal Team is looking for an Executive Assistant to support two (2) Vice Presidents in the Legal organization. This individual must be capable of efficiently multi-tasking, at times under tight deadlines, and appropriately handling sensitive information. Success in this role also involves the ability to anticipate the needs of the VP's and takes the initiative to solve problems independently, while displaying appropriate judgment. In addition, this individual will be expected to proactively identify opportunities to make the overall legal organization and leadership team operate more efficiently over the long term. Responsibilities - Multi-faceted calendar management- Prepare & track expense reports, help tickets, purchase orders and contracts- Project manage all logistics for team meetings, off-sites and events- Assist with the coordination and preparation of complex documents and presentations- Follow up on action items on behalf of leadership team, as appropriate- Understand overall department priorities and goals, and align schedules and meetings accordingly- Provide effective and expeditious meeting coordination including agendas, notes and follow-up- Partner with other company Executive Assistants in order to collaborate, schedule meetings, prioritize critical path items, solve problems, and obtain information to ensure smooth day to day operations- Assist with new hire onboarding and office space planning- Represent Legal internally and PayPal externally in a professional, positive manner- Action complex domestic and international travel arrangements expeditiously and accurately- Identify opportunities to make the team more efficient- Handle special projects as they ariseRequired Skills/Experience - 8+ years relevant work experience supporting senior level leaders in a complex, dynamic and fast-paced environment.- Proven ability to independently exercise sound judgment, prioritize appropriately, show initiative and problem solve.- Capable of building strong relationships with other individuals and departments in order to accomplish tasks and achieve goals.- High degree of flexibility and adaptability; including the ability to work outside of regular business hours.- The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.- Outstanding planning & organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.- Respect for confidentiality and discretion to properly handle sensitive information.- Ability to confidently interface with executive-level contacts inside and outside the company.- A "can-do" attitude that focuses on getting the job done in a highly collaborative and positive way.- Display a sense of humor and resiliency, especially under tight deadlines and while managing multiple priorities.- Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues that are located in different time zones.- Proven competency using MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.- Bachelor's Degree required.- Prior experience working for a publicly traded company preferred.
