As a  CAD Technical Support Specialist , you will be working in one of these market sectors: Commercial Buildings (healthcare, higher education, mission critical, and retail), Advanced Technology (semiconductor manufacturing, renewable energy), or Industrial (pulp and paper manufacturing).

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to BIM Development Manager, you will resolve customer issues with AutoCAD Verticals (AutoCAD Plant 3D, Fabrication CADMEP, and Advanced Steel), utilize Inventor and Revit software suites to create Plant 3D, CADMEP and Revit Families for multi office replication and test designed and detailed parts by creating component models and running ISOs.

CAD Technical Support Specialists at Harder perform the following daily tasks:

  • Respond to technical support requests

  • Build and test part families for accuracy and quality before release

  • Peer review of support requests

  • Advance unresolved issues to senior staff as required

    What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience using platforms outlined above

  • Strong people, troubleshooting, and analytical skills

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Additional languages beyond English are a plus

  • Ability to read vendor drawings or cut sheets to create and/or verify working parts

  • Knowledge of Microsoft file structures

  • Ability to multitask and be flexible with time management

  • Potential to work overtime as needed
