Primary Responsibilities

Work directly with Quality Engineers and Quality Control (Precision Inspection, Assembly Inspection, Receiving Inspection, and CMM Programming) to assist the QE team with the following:

  • Development of quality initiative strategies and implementation.

  • Monitor and improve internal processes using standard continuous improvement tools (DMAIC, SPC control charts, Poka-yoke, etc.)

  • Performs escape management procedures such as containment and root cause analysis.

  • Devise testing plans, methods, and equipment to assure reliability of product while working with the Design team. Works directly with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure product meets design requirements.

  • Identifies and manages risk in new product development utilizing and driving PPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, Measurement System Analysis, Process Flow, and Control Plans).

  • Responsible for development and implementation of new inspection technologies and methodologies to improve inspection processes while assuring product conformance (i.e. vision scanning, laser scanning).

  • Develop and implement sampling and inspection planning for product.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • Must be a US Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June- December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2023.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
