Description
A Boston, MA based client is in need of a Remote Fixed Asset Accountant for a 3-4 month contract position. The Fixed Asset Accountant will be responsible for maintaining & updating the fixed asset module within Workday, setting up a fixed asset for capitalization as well as setting an asset in service. The Fixed Asset Accountant will be responsible for journal entries related to these fixed assets, including amortization and depreciation analysis as well as balance sheet review.
Requirements
Strong understanding of Fixed Assets from applied experience
Experience with Journal Entries
5+ years of general accounting experience with focus on fixed assets preferred
Having utilized Workday Fixed Asset Module is a huge plus
Ability to work independently and stay to task as this a fully remote position
