CTG is seeking an experienced Cerner Millennium Security Analyst for a remote role.
Job responsibilities will include:
• Coordinates with the Cerner works team on behalf of the client – meets weekly and reviews instances, maintenance, troubleshooting, and tracking SRs
• Web security officers for Cerner accounts
• Manages non prod domains and coordinates efforts around domains
• Controls package maintenance, and manages requests through SharePoint and validates packages with teams. Loads and validates packages
• Performs additional security steps for DBA level or higher IT accounts
• For system wide issues, manages alerts, downtime, and/or need to activate 7/24
• Facilitates internal networking with Cerner networking
• Responsible for coordinating Domain refreshes and managing Lights ON
• Follow client’s documented Demand Management process to obtain approval for changes.
• Build changes in Test, work with user to complete testing, and move to production according to the client’s change control process. Monitors and test ongoing prod performance to assure response time and storage capacity
• Provide support for projects and other special application initiatives
• Work with client users and functional teams as needed
• Escalate issues to the vendor as needed, and monitor vendor tickets for resolution
• Utilize the ticket management system Remedy to track issue status and work efforts
• Participate in 24/7 On Call Rotation
After an initial Knowledge Transfer period of 2 to 4 weeks at the client site, work will be performed remotely.
REQUIRED SKILLS (primary and nice-to-have): (Required means that the client only wants to see candidates who have these skills).
Primary
• 3+ years’ experience in support and build of Cerner Millennium Core
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain Cerner applications
• Experience in requirements definition, process and use documentation, product testing, troubleshooting, codes upgrades, and reporting, and new location build
• Proficiency in Lights On, p2sentinel, 724, and Olympus servers
• Ability to contribute to problem analysis in support of decisions and planning in Cerner processes
• In depth experience with LightsOn for system reporting and monitoring
Secondary
• Experience with Project management
• In depth knowledge of clinical workflows preferred
• Experience on an acquisitions team
• Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management
On Call Rotations will be required
