Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services that include 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, an inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT with cardiac scoring, fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK and elastography).\ GENERAL SUMMARY:\ The purpose of this job is to coordinate and direct all compliance functions within the Department of Diagnostic Radiology. You will oversee radiation safety issues, keep accurate time records of staff, monitor educational professional requirements, and assist with revenue cycle activities.  You will follow Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.\ ESSENTIAL DUTIES:\ Compliance: Ensure radiology departments compliance with regulatory agencies standards (eg. JCAHO, NRC and OSHA).  Develop and submit departments compliance plan and bi-annual reports, maintain records and monitors adherence to educational, professional and health requirements (eg, ARRT, ARDMS, LARA, & NMTCB certification, CRP and TB testing.\ 2.  Revenue Cycle: Conduct routine and ad hoc audits relating to billing, medical records etc.  Write ISR\'s, test OneChart modifications and work OneChart work queues.\ Radiation Safety: Maintains the departments QA Program.  Update Policies and maintain department website.\ 4.  Staff Development: Provide new hire orientation, develop department specific cyberworks modules.  Monitors all mandatory learning.\ Record Management: maintain department policies and procedures.\ Student onboarding for Oakland University & Beaumont Health Diagnostic Imaging programs.\ Demonstrates leadership and conflict resolution abilities through effective problem solving.\ Effective inter/intra-departmental communication and participation with medical staff, management, technical and support staff.\ Knowledge with computers for charging/viewing schedules and PAC\'S for sending information both accurately and efficiently.\ Ensures adherence to departmental policies and procedures, including safety standard to minimize radiation exposure to patients and employees.\ Organize and impart department Bring Your Child to Work Day.

Standard Requirements:\ A. Education / Training:\ Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)\ Accredited Radiography program preferred.\ * Equivalent experience in the management of Imaging records/processes or a more advanced operational role within the Imaging department.\ B. Work Experience:\ * Staff Radiology Technologist level minimum of 5 years\' radiology/clinical experience and/or 5 years\' experience preferred in a more advanced operational role within the Imaging department.\ C. Certification, Licensure, Registration:\ * None unless RT\ * RT must have a Certification by American Registry of Radiologic technologists; Must remain in good standing with the ARRT.\ D.
