Superior Metals Manufacturing is looking for Charge Make Up/Material Handlers on 3rd shifts to join our team! 3rd shift differential = $3.00 per hour / $3, 000 Sign on / 5% bonus plan & Wages start at $22.54 per hour. Position Overview: CPP is actively hiring for the 3rd Shift (11: 00p -7: 30a M-F) weekends & OT as needed) . This role handles the overall operations of our production facility and is responsible for the duties associated with Alloy: segregation and pre melt preparation. The ideal candidate will utilize their experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and other, and effect short term and long-term business goals. Essential Job Functions: - Sort and inspect revert and virgin alloy using a XRF and visual inspection per instructions- Resize material prior to cleaning per instruction- Organize and maintain revert and virgin alloy per established standards- Understand the periodic table of elements- Ability to use multiple different pieces of equipment: Alloy analyzer, Metal shear, Pangborn, Hydraulic press, Plasma torch, Preheat oven, Grinders and Cut off saw.- Weigh charge material to ensure appropriate alloy ratios have been achieved.- Must be able to use a PC.- Should have basic trouble shooting skills.- Ability to use fork truck - depth perception required.- Support continuous improvement initiatives.- Responsible for adherence to all safety policies, practices and procedures.Qualifications:- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)- Experience: Knowledge of Foundry environment.- Certifications/Licenses: Forklift license may be required.About Us: Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is an industry-leading manufacturer of highly engineered components and sub-assemblies, supplying the commercial aerospace, military and industrial markets with small-to-large "function critical" products.
