Role Details

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Application Developer in Camden, NJ.Summary:This position will develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. The Application Developer will analyze user needs and develop software solutions. They will design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. The Application Developer may analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. They may also supervise computer programmers. This is a temporary position developing web applications and APIs as part of a large, transformational project. This position will do hands on design and development, and work closely with the Architect while verifying requirements and formulating technical designs.Primary Responsibilities:

• Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance

• Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces

• As an Application Developer, you will modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance

• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints

• Technical degree or related discipline

• Experience in designing and building applications

• Ability to program in at least one programming language such as C#, Java (J2EE), etc.

• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
