Elctrical Engineer

Role Details

Description:

• Developing PCB schematic and driving board layout.

• Designing, debugging, and validating analog, digital and mixed-signal electronic circuits.

• Working with analog subsystems having a DC bandwidth of up to 10 MHz and digital subsystems with typical clocking rates of 100-1000 MHz.

• Specifying and selecting components.

• Design test beds required for the evaluation and characterization of electronic circuits.

• Assisting with failure analysis, root cause diagnosis, and system level problem solving.

Skills:

Electrical, Altium, Schematic, PCB design

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 0-3 years of experience.

• An advanced degree, MSEE or equivalent, is preferred.

• Experience with Schematic Capture and PCB design using Cadence OrCAD/Allegro or equivalent.

• Demonstrated ability to design and analyze analog circuits such as op-amps, filters and power circuits.

• Experience with debugging and test equipment including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, in-circuit emulators and network testers.

• At a minimum, possess a rudimentary knowledge of mathematical analysis; specifically, functional analysis and statistics.

• At a minimum, possess a rudimentary knowledge of process control; specifically, as it relates to reliability and failure analysis.

• Experience in FPGA Design with HDL languages such as Verilog, VHDL would be a plus.
