Role Details

Cox Enterprises seeks a talented individual for a summer Intern position, where they are provided with projects / tasks that will challenge their academic aptitude and interpersonal skills. Gains familiarity with Software Test Engineering concepts, practices, and methodologies.With guidance, performs standard Software Test duties, including:Working with team members to review client requirements, design and associated functional specifications,Using standard methods and tools to test and ensure the quality of software applications, defining test cases with product and engineering teams, Developing and executing manual tests,Creating test documents covering a range of software features, Monitoring production systems to preemptively catch outages,Troubleshooting and debugging identified issues, Writing and organizing test review documentation.Assists Team Leader and team colleagues on selected projects.Develops progress reports and communicates project status to manager and project stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS MinimumCurrently enrolled in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, business or other related degree program.Internship positions are located in Atlanta, GA; Cox Enterprises does not provide a housing allowance.
