Summary
The Construction Team Lead supports the Native Village of Chenega in rural remote Alaska. Provides the experience, knowledge, and technical skills to manage and carry out remote construction projects in Prince William Sound.
The primary activities of this role will be in the field and require extensive knowledge and performance of common construction practices.
Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in completing challenging and rewarding construction projects to include field work and onsite administrative duties.
Direct employees, subcontractors, and vendors in onsite execution of projects.
Manage projects to include assignment of work orders, assist in development of project plans, budgets, and timelines.
Identify and mitigate job site safety issues and execute job site safety plans for construction projects to maintain a safe work environment for employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
Responsible for material planning, procurement, and mobilization.
Administrative duties include but are not limited to daily job reports, planning, budgeting, and other project documentation as required.
This position is remote and rotational. The schedule is to be determined but will be a multi-week rotation
This position will have direct supervisory responsibilities and provides supervision to contract employees assigned to work on projects that fall directly under the responsibility of this position

Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Minimum of five years’ experience in the construction industry with in-depth knowledge of all common vertical construction phases
Experience in rural operations and construction (preferred
