Tracking Code 2022057 Job Description Currently, RG is looking for a talented Junior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to support our product development team in delivering a compelling customer experience through beautiful and usable web and mobile interfaces and workflows for our planning and scheduling software and applications. A successful candidate must demonstrate expertise and the ability to support and optimize the performance of the core database resulting in a high-quality software product that is installed across multiple client enterprise level planning and scheduling software implementations. The Junior Oracle PL/SQL Developer will work remotely as part of the development team to design and write efficient PL/SQL queries, procedures, and views in support of the team\'s development objectives. They will document their code, update the status of their work using Agile management tools (Jira/Wiki) and provide input and expertise during design meetings, daily stand ups, and retrospectives. An understanding of software testing principles and their execution is also required. A Day In the Life: To help make our customer successful, the chosen candidate can expect to be involved with or responsible for: Writing efficient PL/SQL queries and procedures Following coding standards and source control procedures for project Adhering to customer provided security guidelines Creating and modifying data sets and maintaining data dictionary Participating in Daily Scrum meetings Evaluating requested changes to determine direct and indirect impacts Performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis tasks How You Can Make A Difference: A successful candidate will work within a dynamic team environment to create a robust, scalable database environment which enables the user community to access their data rapidly and accurately. The ideal candidate will be able to ensure the application achieves our clients\' desired outcomes in terms of performance, usability, and visibility into insights of their data. Required Skills The Junior Oracle PL/SQL Developer is an exempt customer-facing business professional that will be responsible for writing PL/SQL stored procedures and packages in support of the mid-tier and user interface developers. They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value teamwork, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills. Create, extend, and maintain Oracle 19c+ databases with efficient structures Write optimized queries, views, procedures, and triggers Perform data imports, exports, back ups across multiple Oracle database schemas Understand network and application performance and security considerations when writing queries and procedures Exhibit troubleshooting and root cause analysis thought processes Ability to work within a team environment and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and work within Agile sprint timeframes Required Experience To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be...
