VIVA Creative seeks a Director, Business Development with the following requirements:
Minimum Requirements
MUST HAVE LIVE EVENTS EXPERIENCE AND:
6+ years of experience building, leading, and developing nimble and resourceful business development team in an agency environment
10+ years of experience within a Business Development role
Deep experience with strategic Client acquisition and proposal responses

Responsibilities
Develop and close new business opportunities to drive revenue for VIVA Creative
Lead and manage a team of Business Development professionals; hold all team member accountable for responsibilities and tasks
Cultivate new Client relationships and networking connections driven towards new business opportunities and partnerships
Works closely with executive team to develop VIVA's new business acquisition strategy
Create and execute an action plan to successfully achieve VIVA's new business acquisition strategy, including client acquisition and revenue targets.
Identify quarterly Client outreach targets that support VIVA's new business strategy
Lead in-person and virtual pitches to senior and C-suite level Client teams
Manage, coach and mentor a team of Business Development professionals, including performance reviews and professional development, compensation decisions, improvement initiatives, and other personnel actions.
Directs VIVA's cross-functional proposal and project handoff processes, ensures processes are working and team members are aligned
Work closely with cross functional leaders and colleagues to leverage VIVA talent from across the agency for outstanding proposal responses related initiatives
Manage proposal workflows, including timelines, milestones, and tasks
Demonstrates humility in leadership by promoting success of team, finding opportunities for others to be recognized and advanced.
Shares regular updates and flags with VIVA leadership regarding progress towards revenue targets, outreach highlights, challenges and successes
