Boiler Operator\ Ashland, ME FT/Days or FT/Nights Permanent Opportunity\ \ Job Description:\ \ Immediate openings for Boiler Operators to work for a well-established business in Ashland. This position offers competitive pay and a full selection of benefits! Day and night shifts available. FT/Days: 6 AM 6 PM, Monday Friday; FT/Nights: 6 PM 6 AM, Monday Friday; \$22.00 - \$25.00/hr.\ \ The Boiler Operator will clean, maintain, and operate industrial-grade boilers for a large-scale production facility. Employees must have good communication skills and will be expected to adhere to strict safety guidelines. Applicants should have a trade certification or associates degree in a relevant field of study, as well as a valid license to work on high pressure boilers. Two or more years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting strongly preferred.\ \ Responsibilities:\

• Maintain and operate steam, oil, and biomass boilers, as well as dry lumber kilns.
• Perform routine cleaning and operation checks on all boilers and kilns in the facility.
• Follow safety regulations as directed and report potential hazards and/or equipment failures to plant management.

\ Job Requirements:\

• Associate Degree or Trade Certification in Boiler Systems and Operation.
• High Pressure Boiler Operator license, issued by or eligible in the State of Maine.
• Ability to understand and adhere to all required safety measures.
• Good written and verbal communication.
