We have an awesome assembly opportunity with a leading Kearney manufacturer of filter solutions!\ \ Summary of the Assembly position:

• 1st shift: Monday - Friday 8 or 10 hour shifts between 5 AM - 3 PM
• Pay is \$17.32/hour

Responsibilities of the Assembler:

• Perform various assembly, sub-assembly or packaging operations in a production area requiring general physical dexterity, machine monitoring, inspecting and packaging filter components.
• Perform minor set up duties to accomplish the preceding responsibilities.
• Hand assemble and/or monitor the machine assembly of various filters and components as outlined in the Process Instructions for the assigned work area. This involves working at different workstations in different areas.
• Operate and monitor assembly line machines and activities. Refers problems to supervision.
• Perform minor assembly line set up duties in preparation of assembly operations.
• Obtain inspection report approval from department supervision.
• Responsible for meeting established unit production standards.
• Responsible for inspection of all work and assuring that defective product is not processed. Immediately reports problems to department supervision.
• Completes paperwork as required including quality records, scrap reports and machine logs. Reports production as required using the computer system.

Requirements for the Assembly position:

• Required: Eighth grade education. Preferred: High school education with three or more months of assembly line experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Must be motivated, willing to learn, adaptable and successful in a fast-paced environment.
