Position Summary:
As a 3PL Business Development Executive for Pyle, you will utilize your skills for relationship management, negotiation, sales, and teamwork to grow and manage a portfolio of 3PL customers throughout the country.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with the 3PL team in West Chester, PA to expand Pyle’s engagement with the 3PL community and drive profitable growth.
Develop and execute strategies to accomplish profitable revenue and shipment count growth for your assigned portfolio and exceed your individual goals.
Effectively sell our comprehensive service portfolio by articulating and differentiating A. Duie Pyle’s ability to add value and unique service solutions for the customer.
Prepare and lead in-person and virtual business review meetings with individuals and groups.
Gather and analyze data and details to form strategies related to new opportunities and coordinate with Pyle’s pricing team to prepare proposals.
Negotiate annual contracts with 3PLs to accomplish yield improvement and market share growth within the predetermined time frame.
Coordinate positive outcomes on 3PL customer disputes.
Work closely with accounts receivable, sales, operations, pricing and administrative personnel.
To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:
Previous LTL, Truckload or Logistics experience, preferably in a sales role
Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate and sell
Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills
Demonstrated positive attitude; team first mindset
Comfortable analyzing data and reporting
Strong knowledge of MS Office
Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
The following skillsets are preferred, but not required:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
