Job Summary The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for receiving and processing invoices through either direct input into Oracle or an automated upload process, ensuring adherence to record retention guidelines and all company policies. Responsibilities Review and process invoices on a timely and accurate basis, including specialized procedures for select vendors/types. Ensure vendor master file is accurate and up to date through regular communication with vendors and internal contacts; perform due diligence via public record websites as needed. Review invoices against Purchase Orders; research and resolve any discrepancies. Assist with maintaining the Payables database. Follow record retention guidelines to ensure compliance with Federal and Company requirements. Receive and respond to calls and e-mails from vendors on payment status, discrepancies, and/or general inquiries. Develop and manage ongoing working relationships with vendors and AUSA employees to maximize the efficiency of the department. Qualifications High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. Prior Accounts Payable experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Microsoft Access and Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) experience preferred. Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail.
