THE PROGRAM

The 2023 Network Operations Intern Program is open for dedicated and hardworking students. The goal of the Network Operations Intern Program is to provide current students with exposure to a real-life network operation setting, while giving them the opportunity to learn about our industry. Spectrum provides an atmosphere that is intended to broaden an entry level candidate\'s professional understanding while promoting self-confidence, accomplishment, and career development.

The program is 10 weeks in length and will run from: June 5th, 2023, through August 11th, 2023.

JOB SCOPE

As a member of the Application Platform Operations (APO) Portal Operations team, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, maintenance and configuration of AWS stage and production environments for Charter\'s customer-facing web portals. This includes providing ongoing analysis to ensure systems are operating as expected and serving as an escalation point for the Support Center in troubleshooting issues. We are an operations-centric organization; we keep the lights on, we take the call when things go bump in the night, and we take pride in that responsibility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently support all efforts to enhance the customer experience Evaluate and automate operational elements of Portal systems, platforms and/or deployments A solid understanding of what is required for applications and infrastructure to be \"cloud native\" A solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps deployment process Report on system availability, uptime, and overall health of platformsREQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS Currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree from an accredited four year college or university Bachelors: Sophomore and above Master\'s: Any Level Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required Basic working knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies, UNIX-based systems and application programming (Python, Ruby, Bash, Ansible, etc.) Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate in person, on the phone, and written in a clear, straightforward, and professional mannerWORKING CONDITIONS Office environment No travel required #LI-AK #LI-HYBRID GGN100 324454 324454BR

The pay for this position has a salary range of \$20.00/hr to \$35.60/hr
