Job Title: Brewing Manager

Schedule/Shift: M-F 8 AM to 4 PM

Location: Cape May, NJ 08204

Employment Full Time with Benefits and eligible for OT

Job Description:

The Brewing Manager will help to build, inspire, and lead a world-class brewing team.

Lead the development of brewing team

Conduct regular brewing team goal review sessions and performance feedback sessions.

Ensure training needs analysis are conducted and training plans developed

Set and manage the brewing and cellaring schedule

Ensure that all safety protocols, quality and taste standards, GMP’s, SOP’s, OSHA, and

FDA requirements are adhered to at all times

Serve as technical brewing subject matter expert and share your knowledge with the

brewing staff.

Track and report all relevant operational leading KPI’s on a monthly basis.

Ensure that all processing equipment is in good working order and operationally

Assist in the New Product Development process and provide technical representation

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervises team of world-class Brewing Professionals (10-12 people)

Qualification's

21 years of age or older

Bachelor’s Degree in Brewing, Food Science, or a related field. Certifications from a recognized Brewing Program such as Siebel, ABG, or IBD will be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Strongly preferred – 3- 5 years of leadership experience

Comfortable with occasionally squatting, crouching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and other repetitive motions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Able occasionally climbing ladders

Physical demands of job can include lifting up to 160 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Able to operate machinery, including hand pallet jacks and forklift.

Capable operating a computer and or smartphone and tablet.

Comfortable working in hot and cold temperatures and with manufacturing machinery
