PURPOSE:
The Business Analytics Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and insights within Alteryx, and Tableau to provide insightful business recommendations. This position will collaborate with customers to identify opportunities, develop dashboards, create insights, track processes and results through data analysis
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Job Responsibilities
Create, modify, maintain, and schedule dashboards and workflows using various report writing tools
Identify areas of potential business risk and communicate to appropriate leaders
Make recommendations for necessary changes on varying projects and processes Identify customer requirements, review testing plans, track, and document development/results.
Analyze data to provide insightful and actionable insights
Collaborate with key stakeholders including IT to address system upgrades, issues, and project related tasks as assigned.
Ability to perform complex root cause analysis to resolve potential workflow and database issues
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related discipline or relevant IT experience
Experience:
3-6 years of experience in analytics and/or reporting
3-6 years of experience with ETLs, Database structures, etc…
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of assigned specific software system or application
Knowledge in Data Analytics and the ability to create data models
Foundational technical writing and requirements skills
Organizational and Facilitation skills
Foundational interpersonal and consultation skills
Foundational critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and break down and organize assigned work into workable tasks
Ability to learn new systems, concepts, and procedures
Communication skills written and verbal
Customer Focus and Interpersonal Skills
Ability to collaborate across teams and work in a remote environment
Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:
Some travel may be required
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties

Compensation
Pay Range: $56400.00 - $102400.00 Annually ($27.12 - $49.23 Hourly)

Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $1,000 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
