Assistant Director-FT- Days Req #: 0000105390 Category: Behavioral and Mental Health Status: Full-Time Shift: Day Facility: Jersey City Medical Center Department: Emergency Screening Location: Jersey City Medical Center, 355 Grand Street, Jersey CIty, NJ 07302 Description: Delivers direct clinical services, supervises assigned staff, provides day to day administrative management and coordinates all aspects of a defined unit within a Behavioral Health program. Job responsibilities include: delegation of work load, quality assurance, organization of unit flow, training of new clinical staff, assessment of consumers in the psychiatric ED and the community, patients home, area hospitals, police departments etc, Enforcement of regulations and policies Overseeing patients' movement within the system Completing reports Organizing work load for the shift Qualifications: Master degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field, CADC/LCADC for Addiction Services, Certified Screener for Crisis Team, LPC/LCSW licensed or license eligible. Candidate must have a minimum of TWO year experience POST master degree working full time ,or full time equivalent, in the behavioral health field, Candidate must have a valid driver license and ability to drive agency vehicles during outreach calls, RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
