Business Info Developer Consultant

Hybrid; Flex 1 schedule; 0-3 times per month onsite

Responsible for developing and executing complex Pharmacy data and financial analyses. Position will develop and maintain analytical reporting tools to support pharmacy reporting and complex analyses. In addition, this position will ensure the implementation and execution of project deliverables related to pharmacy reporting and analytics, up to and through delivery.

How you will make an impact:

  • Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions. Performs modeling of information sources and flows.

  • Develops and executes data mining analyses. Uses program languages to extract data.

  • May coordinate the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules and costs for own projects.

  • Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.

  • Develops and supports complex data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.

  • Work on defined and undefined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

  • Handle complex problems/issues where analysis of situations, or data, requires an evaluation of intangible factors, innovative solutions, and effective and collaborative leadership.

  • Conducts training on use of applications developed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Capabilities, Skills, and Experiences:

  • Previous pharmacy operational knowledge strongly preferred.

  • Understanding of Pharmacy Data Analytics as it relates to drug and claim pricing, and ancillary billing.

  • Ability to become knowledgeable, and maintain understanding of, contract specifications, client details, and pharmaceutical product categories.

  • PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages.

  • Working knowledge with SQL/Teradata and combinations of data mining and reporting tools.

  • SAS, EG, or VIYA experience preferred. Python optional.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $94,080 to $169,334
