CNC Machinist - Established Security company looking for a CNC Machinist. Our R&D/Engineering team is expanding, and the need for the products we create is every increasing. We create everything from prototypes and do small run production of our products. Our HAAS machines are always operating and we are looking for the best to make sure they keep producing the greatest security products in the world. CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCAL OR WILLING TO RELOCATE. <P> Our equipment is comprised of an ever growing fleet of Haas Vertical Machining Centers. Scorpion is looking for an individual who can setup and run our CNC equipment, that demonstrates a working knowledge of feeds and speeds, and a working knowledge of cutting tools and their application. Many times the machinist is required to create work holding solutions, and must have the ability to work with the programmer to find the best solution for complicated pieces. <P> Not only will you setup and operate the mills, candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, and related documents associated with the milling operations. Part of the responsibilities would include quality control and inspection of the parts being produced; therefore a good knowledge of inspection equipment and quality documentation is needed. <P> We need somebody who understands machine programming as well. An aptitude to learn the software use to create the programs is needed to help assist the current staff. <LI> Scorpion looks to hire people that want to retire with us. 4-6 years of experience is required.
