Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Davino 1 Unit-ORTHO at our Morrsitwon Medical Center location. This is a full-time position with a shift of 11pm-7:30am, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care

• Assisting patients with daily activities such as dressing and feeding

• Measuring and recording vital signs

• Administering basic treatments

• Helping to ensure a safe care environment

• Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met

• Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude

• Good communication skills

• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required

• BLS and CNA preferred

• Ability to multitask, computer literate, good interpersonal skills and strong team player

• Willing to work in a cohesive team with primary focus on patient safety, quality and satisfaction

• Must be able to assist in organizational throughput as an extension of the Perioperative team

• Must possess ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment

• 1-3 year's experience preferred
