Activities include process design, process development, process control/quality, calibration, process capability analysis, test, measurement, maintenance, and assembly. Aspects of the job may also require process consulting, process research, process commercialization, and process installation.Primary DutiesWorking with Surface Mount Technology, and Microelectronics Packaging.Provide technical support to assure customer satisfaction with engineering and manufacturing services. Obtain customer requirements and apply process, packaging solutions and services to meet those requirements. Provide deliverables and requirements and ensure customer satisfaction and improve business development within assigned customers. Conduct presentations to customers for project proposals, process technology, packaging technology, and project results.Activities include process design, process development, process control/quality, calibration, process capability analysis, test, measurement, maintenance, and assembly.Manufacturing, production, process development problem solving skills, failure mode analysis, process analysis skills.Investigate and analyze project problems. Recommend and coordinate necessary action to resolve problems considering future sales, contract obligations, and ethical responsibilities to the customer always to the best interest of the company.Help coordinate specific activities, timing, scheduling with engineering and operations for board and/or package assemblies as required and provide technical support, respond to RFQs, and provide sales support to allow the salesperson more time to \"sell\".Initiate project and/or process router packages and maintain their content throughout the project and ensure on-time delivery of projects and services.Comply with Quality System procedures.Assure all parts, components, boards, substrates, process materials, and process supplies are ordered and delivered in the customer delivery schedule.Assure all requirements, deliverables, and scheduling with external subcontractors is executed in the customer delivery schedule.Required QualificationsBS Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science, Manufacturing, or Systems EngineeringAt least 1 year of process engineering or manufacturing engineering experienceOrganizational skills, data processing, product knowledge, ability to work as a member of a highly productive and customer-oriented team, problem solving and decision-making skills, ability to work in a dynamic environment balancing a multi-project/priority load.Strong analytical and problem-solving and time management...
