Oversee regional activities and initiatives relating to the Mid-Atlantic Special Projects Program aimed at sales growth and market share\ Support the operations and staff of the Mid-Atlantic Special Projects Program, working closely with other subsidiary groups\ Responsible for the development, leadership, and profit/loss of the Special Projects Program, including client development, contract formation and project execution\ Direct, support, and mentor Mid-Atlantic Special Projects Program support staff\ Provide input for technical decisions, review of reports, proposals, project management, quality control, and standardization of reports and proposals as they pertain to client needs\ Coordinate work internally within ECS regarding deliverables, fees, work schedules, and client requests\ Coordinate invoicing internally within ECS to meet the client\'s needs\ Identify and pursue new opportunities, including participating in marketing and business development activities\ Explore other clients\' needs and help them by matching with ECS services or outside services\ Maintain and continually improve client satisfaction with ECS services\ Assist with other duties as assigned\ What We\'re Looking For
BS/BA degree in civil engineering, business, or related discipline. MS preferred\ Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
10+ years of engineering, project management, marketing, and sales with regional clients\ Significant engineering and management experience in design phase services for large transportation, heavy civil and power related projects\ Significant experience with management of geotechnical engineering projects/contracts in the state/regional IDIQ, Design-Build, and Design-Bid-Build project delivery methods\ Business and client development mindset\ Expertise in geotechnical engineering with a minimum experience of 10 years in such a role\ Excellent communication, client service, and relationship building skills\ Entrepreneurial drive for sales growth, profitability and client satisfaction\ Proven ability to attain goals\ Outstanding organizational skills\ Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and successfully meet deadlines\ Computer/internet proficiency\ Willing to travel within U.S.
