Tracking Code 2023012 Job Description Currently, RG is looking to hire a Director of Business Development. This position will report directly to RG's Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will be responsible for all new business activities (capture management, proposal development and pipeline management). This role will focus on expanding RG's service and product offerings across the DoD, Civilian, Commercial, and International marketspace. A Day in the Life: The chosen candidate will be responsible for conducting and gathering market and product related intelligence that can be used to build and maintain a growing opportunity pipeline. They will identify and target customers who align to our core offerings, and will develop tailored capture plans to meet both customer needs and RG's strategic growth objectives. They will also be responsible for all proposal activity execution related to identified growth opportunities. How You Can Make A Difference: This role plays an important and vital part in shaping the strategic direction and success of RG. Required Skills The Director of Business Development is an exempt customer-facing business professional that provides a variety of information directly to customers for their ongoing programs, new initiatives, strategic planning, and measurement/evaluation in one or more of RG's solutions. They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value teamwork, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills. Required Experience To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered. BA/BS Degree 7+ years of experience selling Consulting Services and/or Commercial Products across the Federal or Commercial market space Broad knowledge of US Federal market and demeanor to closely interact on a professional level with senior-level staff and executive decision makers Experience executing capture management and proposal development, to include: Screening potential opportunities by analyzing requirements, company capabilities, market research, internal priorities, and financials to recommend a pursue decision Developing and executing capture plans for major programs and/or agencies. This includes gathering information, assessing qualifications and probability of win, developing win strategies, and refining and progressing the capture plan Assisting with bid strategies, pricing, and proposal strategies Leading a team through the entire life cycle of each opportunity as the main point of contact, communicating key customer requirements and strategy Performing proposal planning/scheduling, detailed RFP analysis, leading/conducting proposal kick-off/training, leading multi-discipline teams and providing coaching/guidance to team members Experience in design, development, and delivery of compliant, customer-focused proposals Exceptional writing and presentation skills with above average Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point skills Ability to travel as required (anticipated up to 35%) Bring the WOW Factor: In addition to our core requirements that are an absolute must for this role, we want to highlight some of the qualifications that we consider to "Bring the WOW Factor".
