Role Details

Need 3 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Hastings, MN. From: 03/15/2023 to 12/30/2023 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day Overtime: all hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 08/08/2023 JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids), and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. General seasonal farm duties. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here at his sole discretion. Equipment: Large square Balers, Round balers, Grain Carts, Silage chopper, Silage wagons, Peterbilt Semis w End Dump trailer, Skid steer and Payloaders, Combine. Crops: Wheat, Corn, Alfalfa. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum three (3) months experience. Must have CDL or be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. Must have experience with payloader. Must be able to perform work requiring exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive sitting, and frequent stooping or bending over. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least \$15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
