Agilent is looking for a proficient and versatile self-starter to direct the field execution/construction of complicated, multi-disciplinary real estate and construction projects. You will be a member of the Major Capital Programs, Workplace Services team, leading the construction and logistics activities of multiple major capital projects. This includes construction/logistics planning and reviewing with internal customers, coordinating activities, developing and managing project schedules, oversight of General Contractors/Subs, planning key transitions or handoffs of systems, identifying risks and clearly setting expectations with project partners. Projects can range from tenant improvements, to greenfield construction; from tool installations to phased master plans, from office fitouts to GMP manufacturing plant expansions. You might be dedicated to one large project for several years or work on multiple design-build projects across a number of sites. It is a fast-paced, high volume environment, with limited internal resources and conflicting priorities. Your success will be measured on developing a strategy to implement each project and deliver a quality product on time and on budget. This role will be based in Frederick, Colorado, largely focused on facilities that produce active pharmaceutical ingredients for biological-based therapeutics. Responsibilities: -Lead construction and logistics activities of major capital projects, focusing on oversight of General Contractor and integration with Project Team and Commissioning, Qualification and Verification (CQV) Team. -Ownership of General Contractor performance, driving first quartile results in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. -Work with a team of internal partners (CQV, EHS, Security, Project Management, etc.), consultants, contractors, and other vendors. -Develop effective and clear presentations for various audiences, including Senior Leadership and other partners. -Develop / Validate construction / logistics schedules for successful project delivery -Ensure integration between Project Team, General Contractor, Subvendors, procurement, and EHS -Ensure adherence to any external regulations and represent Agilent with external regulatory agencies. -Balance expectations and needs of the customer against the scope of the project -Develop relationships with industry experts to provide an outside-in perspective and improve capabilities. -Demonstrate leadership to build positive relationships within the company. -Actively identify facilities improvements and implement standards, policies, guidelines and processes in line with the objectives of the company and organization. -Travel may be required Qualifications -Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management -10+ years of relevant work experience. -Depth of knowledge in construction principles, and other technical/building disciplines -Bio-tech/Pharma//Healthcare/cGMP experience highly desirable...
