Pay range: $ 36.00-$38.00 /hour (Annualized at $ 74,880-$79,040 )

The Idaho Division of Career Technical Education (IDCTE) provides leadership and coordination for programs in career technical education in various parts of the state. With a customer-service focus the Division leads Idaho’s efforts of preparing youth and adults for high-skill, in-demand careers.
Program Quality Managers provide leadership and technical support to secondary and postsecondary career technical education programs. With a focus on program quality improvement, student leadership success, and cross-collaboration with employers, secondary and postsecondary programs, Program Quality Managers work to ensure that program offerings directly align to regional and state labor needs. The start date for this position is flexible depending on the successful candidate’s availability.
Benefits Include: Per current policy, this position earns 7.4 hours of vacation leave every two weeks (about 4.8 vacation weeks per year), 3.7 hours of sick leave per pay period, eleven paid holidays, PERSI retirement plan, FICA and Medicare contributions, FMLA, and workers’ compensation insurance. Additionally, employees may elect to participate in other employer supported benefits including medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, FSA plan, 401(k) plan, 457 plan, and IDeal plan. This position is eligible for reduced tuition and fees at institutions under State Board of Education governance.
Special Notification : This position is exempt from rules of classified service under provisions of Section 67-5303, Idaho Code. This position is educational professional exempt from overtime. Successful applicant will be required to pass background check.
Example of Duties
S tatewide leadership and advoc acy for career technical education with emphasis in Agriculture , Food & Natural Resources education
Provide technical assistance and resources to administrators, educators, and other CTE service providers in Agriculture , Food & Natural Resources education program areas, impacting students in grades 7-1 4 .
Provide leadership and guidance to CTE program instructors, administrators , career counselors and transition coordinators in all educational regions of Idaho.
Ensure the program area meets its stated objectives and state and federal requirements by conducting program visits and program reviews annually.
Work cooperatively with external agency stakeholders, such as business and workforce development partners.
Serve as State Advisor for Idaho FFA while working cooperatively with the Idaho FFA Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) Manager to provide oversight and technical assistance to local schools and technical colleges related to student organization development, manage ment , and state advisor responsibilities.
Facilitate secondary program planning with standards, assessment s, data, and SkillStack ®
Facilitate postsecondary program alignment
Develop teacher and administrator professional development opportunities at Idaho CTE Summer Conferences (Connect) and other times, as appropriate.
Collabor ate with Idaho Digital Learning as necessary to develop course for CTE Digital
Manage grants , such as Idaho Quality Program Standards (IQPS) and various funding initiatives throughout the year
Manage FFA award processes (state degrees , American degrees, national chapter, etc.)
Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Earned Master’s degree from an a ccredited college or university , or an equivalent combination of rel evant education and experience.
Earned (or ability to earn) an Idaho CTE Administrator endorsement.
Have a minimum of three years teaching experience in a CTE program area ( or equivalent work experience).
Candidates must effectively demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following areas: organizational leadership and management; budget, and contract administration; interpretation of state and federal law; written and verbal communication skills, and computer skills.
Preferred Qualification
Demonstrated experience with Idaho’s career technical education system at the secondary and postsecondary levels.
