Example of Duties
Coordinate immunization needs, records, and inventory for Family and Clinic Services;
Provide immunization services to children and adults of all ages at both off and on-site clinic locations;
Work with members of traditionally underserved populations to address their vaccination needs (such as members of the refugee, immigrant, migrant, rural, and disability communities);
Help patients connect with care-based resources as well as access available community resources and services for both adult and pediatric populations;
Provide medical clinic nursing care under the direction of a licensed professional NP, PA, or Physician, operating under guiding principles established by the Board of Nursing, CDH agency standards, clinical protocols, policy and procedures, and nursing guidelines;
Help to meet the success of the Family and Clinical Services, and greater Central District Health, team by performing additional duties pertaining to vaccinations and primary care as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed as a Professional or Registered Nurse in Idaho as defined by Idaho Code 54-1408 or state licensure as a Registered Nurse pursuant to the Nurse Licensure Compact, Idaho Code 54-1418, in one of the following compact states: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin.
Desirable Qualifications (these qualifications are not mandatory, however having these qualifications may increase your overall score).
Supplemental Information
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
Strong understanding of the unique needs of traditionally underserved populations;
Experience in a community health setting;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as compassionate listening skills.
