CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an International Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our American Fire Protection - International group in Birmingham, AL or remotely from home. YOUR IMPACT CHA offers highly specialized fire protection engineering services and cutting-edge solutions to the most challenging fire protection projects. Our knowledgeable staff manages complex industrial, commercial and design/build fire protection projects, including sprinkler systems, fire pumps, ground storage tanks, underground piping, and special hazards. The International Fire Sprinkler Inspector, a key role at American Fire, provides quality control, testing and commissioning of projects within his/her discipline and provides expert consultation in one or more areas of the respective fire sprinkler systems. Our international inspectors coordinate detailed phases of a project independently with our project management staff. This key role provides guidance, mentorship, and technical review of work completed by our client's staff. This position provides technical review of the installed systems to prepare and provide a detailed report identifying all deficiencies found. This position would be responsible for the continued efforts to maintain customer relationships on site. This person will also be responsible for inspecting, testing and final commissioning of fire protection systems around the world. The International Fire Sprinkler Inspector is responsible for resolving complex technical issues and monitors the progress and performance on a project to ensure code compliant systems are being installed. In addition, this position is responsible for recognizing technical discrepancies to propose appropriate corrections following standard procedures and recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of installation.
