The Implementation Manager (IM) has direct oversight of the Implementation Specialists. This position leads the projects in support of key internal and external customers during the implementation and transition of Censis software applications to Censis Client Managers. The IM participates in developing implementation strategies, definition, scope, and maintaining project plans and timelines, which may include status reports and target dates. The IM will work with all members of the Sterile Processing department, as well as their managers to design, implement and proactively deliver a superior software experience for our clients. Conducts training sessions using on-line training tools or in person covering specified CensiTrac products. This person may also design training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness. The IM may develop instruction aids such as computer tutorials and reference products. Communication with all other departments is a critical part of this role and the position requires strong communication skills along with the ability to work with other, as well as independently to deliver solutions on time.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Ensures that all projects are carried out properly, maintaining client satisfaction, along with attaining desired outcomes, quality, and delivery timeframes.
• Assists the PM and/or SIM in risk assessment to keep a client’s implementation on target.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned implementation resources while they are onsite. Plans, directs, and coordinates implementation team tasks and assists in assessing resources for shifts and their shift hours.
• Responsible for making sure Implementation Specialists and Senior Implementation Specialists are fully trained on all areas of CensiTrac. This includes any updates and changes made to CensiTrac prior to each implementation and may include site specific requirements such as implementing OR Scheduler.
• Develops an in-depth understanding of the CensiTrac application, including all interfaces and configuration settings.
• Provides training and in-services as needed for clients through virtual meetings, conference calls and live application demonstrations.
• Conveys technical information so that non-technical individuals can understand.
• Identifies installation problems, software bugs and /or needed software modifications to Product Development.
• Continuously evaluates all aspects of training methods and searches for ways to improve training and implementation effectiveness.
• Interacts with customers to quickly identify any underlying business needs and requirements. Analyzes business requirements and identifies any gaps between customer requirements and the CensiTrac product.
• Assists with the development of test cases and user experiences to support UAT and other testing activity.
• Provides quarterly feedback of team members performance to the Senior Implementation manager to support mid-year and annual reviews.
• Completes annual performance review.
• Completes performance and development goals.
• Mentors and trains team members.
• Internal Support of other Departments as required/assigned; assists in other areas, as required.
• Travel requirement up to 25%
• 1-4 years of experience implementing software in healthcare environments.
• Experience implementing CensiTrac solutions (Asset Management Solutions).
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
• Understanding base of SPD and/or Materials Management and Peri-Operative services.
• Some IT related experience.
• Experience with Salesforce and/or other project management software.

• Exceptional presentation, communication, and training skills.
• Familiarity and ease with computer systems and common software products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with customers using a consultative approach.
• Self-motivated individual that can proactively identify and mitigate project risks, advance, and track issues to resolution.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
