Business Analyst, Revenue Operations

Role Details

The Revenue Operations Analyst is responsible for optimizing the data and tools in the Order-to-Revenue cycle to drive process efficiency and revenue accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Function as a key business partner to the divisional finance teams and IT on matters impacting Revenue Recognition and the order to revenue process

Review part numbers and transactions to identify improper setup and drive to resolution in a timely manner

Provide input that will help drive process efficiencies and assist efforts to implement them

Assist in month-end revenue close processes

Assist in preparation and reviewing of Standalone Selling Price analyses for the annual global interim audit

Perform revenue-related data mining, analysis and reporting functions

Ensure that the divisional finance teams have access to reports necessary to support their review of revenue assurance

Ensure complete compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements as laid out for revenue accounting and improve internal controls where necessary

Skills & Experience Required:

BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant work experience

Experience in the application of ASC 606

Advanced skills in Excel/spreadsheet modeling

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to influence and negotiate with others

Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

Ability to partner effectively with all levels of management

Salesforce, Oracle, RevPro, BI tools experience a plus
